We are surprised by today's unpleasant information that, due to our professional engagement as a marketing agency, there has been a reaction from the Government of the United Kingdom.
Primarily, this is surprising to us because, in nearly a decade of our agency "Mania" existence, we have successfully collaborated with numerous domestic and international clients and organizations, building a credible reputation in the marketing industry. Among other projects, we have worked on initiatives for the EU, GIZ, UNICEF, UNDP, USAID, as well as projects with the Embassy of the United Kingdom. That same embassy invited us to participate in a roundtable as an example of successful entrepreneurs driving change at the local and national levels.
We are also recognized for successful projects in collaboration with various brands where we promoted Bosnia and Herzegovina. We have twice won competitions and represented BiH at the largest international marketing festival in Cannes. Various awards for the quality of our work won at festivals worldwide (Los Angeles, Tokyo, Berlin, Madrid, and many others) attest to the recognition of our work at the international level.
For the specific engagement that triggered the reaction from the Government of the United Kingdom, as well as for all other domestic and foreign projects, we applied through the same procedure, following a public call issued by the relevant institution that was open to anyone in the market. While performing our job, we adhered to professional standards and rules, fulfilling obligations defined by the contracting authority. Other legal entities engaged in the same project in previous years also adhered to these obligations, and no sanctions were imposed.
